The Keswick Ministry in Perth was started in the 1950's. The first meetings were held for some years in a large tent in the suburb of Kalamunda over a week in summer. Some time later, Orange Grove Keswick Convention was officialy formed and the existing property (now known as Camp Wattle Grove) was acquired.
Keswick Conferences were also held in country towns across Western Australia from the 60s up until the late 80s. These towns included Bunbury, Albany, Esperance, Katanning, Geraldton and Scarborough (at the time, most roads to Scarborough were gravel and it was considered country).
Esperance is the only country town that has continued to hold Keswick Conferences and holds one conference a year in Summer/Autumn.
